Clothing Aids

Approximately 300 million people around the world live in different countries as migrants. Some of these people live in camps as refugees, while others try to survive in slums. These people who have had difficulties in life due to wars and economic difficulties in their countries do not own a second pair of clothes. They have to sleep and wear the same clothes during the day.

Clothing needs can be one of the most helpful types of aid we can provide to the people who are trying to survive only wearing the clothes on their backs.

Why We Do Clothing Aid?

There are children selling napkins on the streets wearing only an old sweater, fathers and mothers with torn shoes out in the cold trying to find work to provide for their families, people who have to beg for help on the streets wearing the thinnest of clothing. handkerchief seller children wearing an old sweater on cold winter days in streets. When we see them, we are thankful to Allah (swt) for all we have, but to be truly thankful to our Creator, we can share the blessings Allah (swt) has bestowed upon us. We should help clothe the people in need with what we wear, and feed them from the things we eat.

During the eid festivities, our families would give us gifts of clothing, those are memories we all cherish. Gifts received when in need are that much more important, spreading love and kindness.

Giving is an act of kindness that spreads happiness to both the giver and the receiver.

Help put shoes on the cold feet of a child, a jacket on the back of a spent father, a smile in the face of an orphan you may never even meet. Share and help spread happiness in this harsh world we reside in.
